Audit mistakes are TOO COSTLY for your business.
Did you know that many tax auditors have very little experience since the turnover is high at the Texas Comptroller's Audit Field Offices?
This will affect you. An auditor with limited knowledge and experience is not going to make the most accurate decisions when facing complex situations, and unfortunately, those decisions will impact your business for many years to come. This is why you need us by your side, to protect you and help you avoid costly audit mistakes.
State and Local Tax compliance is complicated.
You can level the playing field with us. We speak the same language, we have the knowledge, the experience, and the access to key relationships to help you. We know how to FIGHT effectively AND DEFEND your business. We can make the whole audit experience less overwhelming for you and your staff.
If your audit is productive (resulted in tax due), the Texas Comptroller will audit you again in 3-4 years.
When you hire us, you hire a professional team dedicated to help you achieve a NO TAX DUE AUDIT. This should be your GOAL. Achieving a No Tax Due audit will discourage the Texas Comptroller from coming back in the future.
Your initial communication with an auditor is key.
Auditors are given 16 hours to make a judgement decision to either stay longer or leave. Therefore these hours are key. If the auditor anticipates or is able to accumulate evidence of errors during this time, the auditor will stay until the work is complete. However, if the auditor is unable to determine any errors during these hours, the auditor will be more likely to leave and grant a No Tax Due determination.
No matter where you are in the audit process, WE CAN HELP.
Notification of routine audit – This is the PERFECT TIME for you to hire us. We can negotiate for you the most ideal situation for this process, so that you can continue to focus on growing your business. We will pursue a no-tax due determination, so that you are not audited again.
